OMBU X-55 5W LED Flashlight

Power-up the X-55 from the rear tactical switch. The click is positive and the light output from the Luxeon 5 watt LED is brilliant, emitting 65 lumens. All this from a 3.7oz light measuring a mere 5 inches by 1 inch at the head with and with a light source that will never need replacement! The two CR123's that are included will provide an hour of 5 watt light and many more hours of extended use output. Please note that intermittent use of this light where burn times are under 5 minutes duration will significantly increase the above times.

The light print from the X-55 is wide angle.(no noticable hot spot, just nice even wide light.) The light cone cast by the torch is a defined 8 foot circle at 10 feet weighted more brightly in the center to about 40 percent of that circle. Basically the X-55 will brightly illuminate half of an average room from the doorway! While some lights of this type may opt for the tighter beam which is less practial for near-field use, The X-55 strikes a good balance of bright, direct output and wide angle practicality; one of the great hallmarks of LED technology to begin with. The OMBU X-55 is water-tight, o-ring sealed throughout, though not yet rated to a depth beyond several feet.

The circuits and the bodies are designed and assembled in Spain with expertise and old world craftsmanship.
