Rechargable lantern includes internal NIMH batteries. Can be charged using included 12v auto car charger plug, or hand crank. Or you may also use regular disposable 3 x AAA batteries to power the unit.

Switch operation: One 5 LED On, 1 middle LED On, all 6 LEDs On, and then Off.

Middle LED light is very diffused and soft, when not as much light is needed.
